This comprehensive arts workshop series for teachers and students provides creative arts experiences in Dance, Visual Arts, Music, and Theatre.

Dance Workshop Series

Students create their own original choreography through basic understanding of the creative process and elements of dance. Students in all grades develop dance skills, knowledge, and dispositions through standards-based dance education: creating original movements, movement phrases, and choreography. This series includes two teacher workshops that focus on arts content, classroom management issues, and assessment. Visual Arts Workshop Series

This entire drawing course is designed to focus on the formal elements of art through a series of explorations collected in individual art journal. Students in all grades develop foundation arts skills and dispositions through standards-based visual arts education: introduction to tools, vocabulary, and dispositions of the artist; observational drawing; elements of composition; artistic rendering, refinement, and expression; and student exhibitions.This series includes two teacher workshops that focus on arts content, classroom management issues and assessment.

Students create musical experiences through a basic understanding of the creative process and elements of music. Students in all grades develop music skills, knowledge, and dispositions through standards-based music education in which students create lyrics, scores, and compositions. This series includes two teacher workshops that focus on arts content, classroom management issues and assessment.
